This year, in almost all cases, editors chose to promote games that fell outside of voting into the bottom section of the list. This is why games aren't all in Top 100 Score order, but in each case we've noted which writer was responsible for the change. If the majority voted in favour, then their suggestion was ratified. The writer had to make their case in front of the entire PC Gamer team, who then voted on the strength of that argument.
